First-write-wins
If a merchant already has a referrer, the header is ignored. You cannot take over an already-attributed merchant.
Off the request path
Attribution runs asynchronously. It never slows down or blocks payment-intent creation.
No self-attribution
You cannot attribute your own merchant account to yourself.
Idempotent
Once a merchant is attributed, repeat requests with the header are safe no-ops.

You earn a flat 30% of PayKrypt's fees on every confirmed payment received by your referred merchants, for the life of the referral. The rate never decays and there's no cap.
Earnings are recorded automatically each time a referred merchant receives a confirmed payment. You can view all accrued earnings in your dashboard under the Referrals tab.
No limit. You can refer as many merchants as you like and earn commissions from all of them simultaneously.

Referral codes must be entered during registration. Existing accounts cannot be retroactively linked to a referral code.
